Painter Industrial & Automotive
Preps manufactured products and truck equipment to be painted. Operates paint equipment to ensure high quality finish and appearance. Maintains work area in a clean, organized manner. Responsible for maintaining paint equipment.
Essential Functions

- Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
- Paints truck equipment and manufacture parts, etc. using an air spray system.
- Prepares parts and equipment for painting using thinner, an air blower and, if needed, sandblasting to ensure a clean painting surface.
- Maintains paint booth by setting up painting equipment, mixing paint and adjusting equipment to produce desired result.
- Manages the drying process and stores painted equipment appropriately.
- Maintains work area, equipment and supplies in neat, organized manner.
- Final inspection of finished work and timely completion of associated paperwork.
- Provide assistance to co-workers as requested by department management
