Position Summary
The Painter is responsible for preparing and painting vacant apartment homes to support unit readiness, leasing timelines, and overall property presentation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring each apartment meets company quality standards and delivers a strong first impression for incoming residents. The Painter works closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams to complete unit turns efficiently while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
Work Arrangement
- Location: Onsite / Redbank Village & Liberty Commons / South Portland, ME
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-Call / Weekends: Occasional, based on business needs
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare apartment units for painting, including patching, sanding, caulking, and priming surfaces.
- Complete full-unit repaints and touch-ups to support make-ready and move-in schedules.
- Apply paint with a high-quality, professional finish while maintaining clean and organized work areas.
- Inspect completed work to ensure company quality standards are met.
- Assist with unit turns and general maintenance as needed while following all company safety policies and procedures.

Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $25
- Bonus Eligibility: Discretionary bonus upon eligibility
- Incentives: Eligibility for performance-based awards
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
