PAINTER

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling, and applying primer where required.
• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to walls, ceilings, structures, equipment, and other construction surfaces.
• Mix and match paints, colours, and coatings according to project requirements.
• Use brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other painting tools and equipment safely.
• Perform touch-up, repainting, and corrective painting works when required.
• Protect surrounding areas, fixtures, and completed works from paint damage.
• Inspect completed painting works to ensure proper coverage, finishing, and quality.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Follow approved work procedures, site instructions, and workplace safety requirements.
• Comply with all applicable Singapore laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Painter in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of painting methods, surface preparation, and different types of paints and coatings.
• Able to use basic painting tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites, including outdoor and elevated areas where required.
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good work attitude, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, Sundays, and Public Holidays when required by project schedules and operational needs.
• Night work or extended working hours may be required depending on project requirements.
