Painters

We are seeking an experienced Painter to support commercial and residential construction projects. This position is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, stains, coatings, and finishes while maintaining high standards for quality, cleanliness, and jobsite safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other surfaces for painting.
  • Scrape, sand, patch, caulk, and repair surface imperfections.
  • Apply primer, paint, stain, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
  • Mix and match paints according to project specifications.
  • Mask and protect floors, fixtures, windows, and surrounding work areas.
  • Complete interior and exterior painting work.
  • Perform touch-ups and final punch-list work.
  • Set up and safely use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
  • Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and all jobsite safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.

Requirements

Previous professional painting experience.

Experience with surface preparation, rolling, brushing, and spraying.

Knowledge of different paints, primers, stains, and coatings.

Ability to produce clean lines and consistent, high-quality finishes.

Must have basic painting tools, including brushes, rollers, extension poles, scrapers, putty knives, caulking tools, and drop cloths.

Must have required PPE, including a hard hat, safety vest, work boots, gloves, safety glasses, and respiratory protection when required.

Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work.

Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Commercial construction experience is preferred.
