Painting & Coating Inspector (Topside)

Summary
Inspects offshore topside painting and coating work, verifying surface prep, testing adhesion/coverage, and ensuring client specs are met.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect topside painting and coating activities.
- Verify surface preparation before coating application.
- Perform DFT, adhesion, holiday and environmental testing.
- Witness coating application according to project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with client coating requirements.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC and client inspectors.
- Prepare inspection reports and NCR documentation.
- Monitor rectification works.
- Maintain HSSE compliance.
Requirements
- Diploma or technical qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of topside coating inspection experience.
- Experience on FPSO topside modules preferred.
- NACE Level II/III or FROSIO certification is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of offshore coating systems.
- Able to prepare QA/QC inspection reports.
- Good communication skills.
