- Established palliative care program that is part of a larger system-wide Palliative Medicine team.
- Fully consultative practice with no admitting or discharging responsibilities.
- Approximately 75% inpatient and 25% outpatient care with flexibility based on physician interests and program needs.
- Growing and increasingly complex medical environment with expanding ICU services in York.
- Five dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) supporting the York program.
- Collaborative team-based model with cross coverage support and dedicated Nurse Coordinator assistance.
- Utilization of Epic EMR with ambient AI documentation technology (Art for Chart).
- Work alongside and mentor Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required or
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice or Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
- Hospice and Palliative Care Certification through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or if a DO, through the Osteopathic Board process. Upon Hire Required and
- Completion of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
- Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required and
- Harvard Palliative Care Training. Upon Hire Required and
- Proof of Added Competency in Palliative Care (e.g., Decisions Near the End of Life Faculty, EPEC faculty, CMEs related to Palliative Care/End of Life Care, other). Upon Hire Required
- Minimum of 15 CME/1 year in Palliative Care. Upon Hire Required
