Apple is looking for a world-class talent panel design engineer to design, develop and launch the next-generation display technologies for Apple products. The panel design team is responsible for delivering the advanced panel designs and technologies to enable the world’s best display performance in Apple Products. Each Individual will serve as a focal point in architecting and developing the total pixel and panel designs. This includes Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) & Organic Light Emission Diode (OLED) device modeling, electro-optical simulation, TFT integrated circuit design, panel architecture, and whole panel function simulation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S degree degree in Electrical Engineering, or B.S degree in Electrical Engineering plus 4 years TFT industry experience
- Hands-on experience, in-depth technical knowledge, and proven track record in the design and development for displays or related electronics.
- Understanding the basic TFT and panel process
- Understanding the basic OLED electro-optical characteristics
- Ability to perform computer modeling and simulation with SPICE
- Ability to perform pixel layout and parasitic RC extraction
- Experience in measuring and characterizing TFT devices
- Experience in TFT integrated circuit design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing, designing and manufacturing high volume display products
- Experience in characterizing panel optical and electrical performance
- Experience in Verilog A behavior modeling
