Position summary
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the FIG Real Estate Paralegal supplies legal/broad support to the firm's attorneys and their clients. Must be familiar with and observe the firm's established policies and guidelines. Must maintain positive contact with attorneys (both the firm's and outside counsel), support staff, clients, and vendors. Observes confidentiality of client and firm matters.
Job duties and responsibilitiesExperience in analyzing and negotiating title reports, surveys, zoning certificates and other due diligence documents for loans secured by commercial real estate.Experience in managing and organizing closings for loans secured by commercial real estate.Experience in organizing and dealing with multi-state commercial loan transactions, including preparation of signature pages and escrow deliveries in advance of closing.Perform necessary follow-ups...
