Paralegal

The Paralegal will assist the Legal Department with a variety of franchise matters, including enforcement of brand standards, franchisee defaults, and termination of franchise agreements. Responsibilities will include drafting notices of non-compliance, defaults, demand letters, notices of termination, drafting termination and release agreements, settlement release agreements, maintaining compliance tracking and status reports, updating franchise relationship database, coordinating with brand operations personnel, communication with franchisees, following up with operations teams on the status of franchisee non-compliance issues and defaults and other related duties. The Paralegal will also assist in-house and outside counsel with franchisee bankruptcy matters, coordinating with outside counsel as needed. Support legal review of Sales & Marketing materials and PR/communications as needed.
