Your Role as a Paraprofessional

You'll be a trusted partner to your students and a valued member of your classroom team. You will:

• Partner with teachers to support classroom instruction and daily learning activities
• Build positive connections with students by encouraging good behavior in a supportive, caring environment
• Work with your team, including teachers and behavior therapists, to use approved behavior management techniques consistently
• Keep students safe and engaged in the classroom, on school grounds, and on school outings, will be trained in behavior management
• Support students with personal care needs with dignity and respect

Your Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: 8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
• Includes a 6-week Extended School Year (ESY) program

Your Pay Rate

• Hourly rate of $22.49 – $24.74, with the option to spread your earnings across the full year

What is required

• A valid Paraprofessional License, Substitute Teaching License, or Professional Educator License
