Paraprofessional

C.E. Jacobson Elementary is currently seeking a qualified Paraprofessional. This role supports students with academic and/or emotional/behavioral needs and collaborates with staff to create a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students in academic and behavioral settings.
• Assist in implementing instructional and behavioral plans under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Completion of at least two years of college (60 credits) or the ability to pass the Para Educator Assessment (available locally).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.
• Experience working with students is preferred but not required.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday, aligned with student instructional days, plus designated staff training days.
• Compensation: $17.32–$23.95 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
