- A minimum of either a high school diploma or a GED as evidence of completion of a high school education
- A valid driver's license
- An acceptable driving record
Applicants must be able to meet the mental and physical requirements:
- Appropriately deal with stress and maintain composure when encountering serious injuries or illnesses.
- Physical strength and dexterity and the ability to function in very adverse environments with exposure to numerous safety risks.
