Job Summary:

The Parking Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of parking lots, garages, and surrounding areas. This role ensures a clean and welcoming environment for customers, tenants, and visitors by performing routine cleaning, waste removal, and basic maintenance tasks.

Pay: $20.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30 pm

  • Sweep, pick up litter, and remove debris from parking lots, garages, sidewalks, and entryways
  • Empty trash cans and recycling bins; replace liners as needed
  • Clean oil spills, stains, and other hazardous materials using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions
  • Power wash surfaces when required to maintain cleanliness and appearance
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of stairwells, elevators, and pedestrian areas within parking facilities
  • Report maintenance issues such as broken lights, damaged signage, potholes, or safety hazards
  • Remove graffiti or report it for further action
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while handling cleaning materials
  • Assist with seasonal duties such as leaf removal, snow clearing, or de-icing walkways
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous janitorial, maintenance, or outdoor cleaning experience is a plus
  • Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment (e.g., pressure washers, leaf blowers, sweepers)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
