Parsing Architect (AI) - Senior
Summary
Senior parsing architect at Accenture Federal Services designing and scaling enterprise document-parsing and preprocessing pipelines (OCR, multimodal vision-language models, document APIs) that feed unstructured data into LLM/autonomous-agent stacks — including chunking schemas, vector indexing, and PII/security controls. Requires an active US security clearance; based in Chantilly, VA.
Who you'll be:
We are seeking a highly experienced Parsing Architect (AI) to lead the systemic design, scaling strategy, and governance of an enterprise-level parsing and document preprocessing architecture. This role is crucial in engineering solutions for autonomous agents and LLM application stacks, focusing on how unstructured data lakes are ingested, validated, and segmented prior to indexing.
What you'll do:
- Design and implement an end-to-end framework for ingesting and processing multi-format unstructured data.
- Evaluate and orchestrate cutting-edge parsing technologies, including OCR, multimodal vision-language models, and document processing APIs.
- Build resilient, cost-optimized pipelines for streaming contextually rich data into AI environments.
- Define unified semantic data schemas, chunking rules, and metadata tagging protocols.
- Architect retrieval infrastructure, including indexing strategies and vector database integrations.
- Establish high-assurance access controls for secure and accurate hybrid search systems.
- Collaborate with data governance, security, and compliance teams to enforce lineage tracing and PII/PHI filtering.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8 years of experience in parsing architecture or a related field.
- Proven expertise in data engineering and cognitive computing infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of semantic data schemas and metadata tagging.
- Experience with high-throughput AI environments and document processing technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Security Clearance:
- Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position
