We want you to:
- Identify and resolve inline, offline, and PDI part group issues in collaboration with suppliers.
- Monitor and confirm the implementation of countermeasures at supplier sites.
- Track and oversee Engineering Orders (EO) & 4M changes at supplier production lines, ensuring compliance with EPI deadlines.
- Proactively seek quality improvement opportunities and provide comprehensive reports.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within supplier operations and component production.
- Support new vehicle development processes, address quality concerns, and approve project quality documentation.
- Monitor quality trends, focusing on supplier continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform data-driven analysis to diagnose problems and develop creative, effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain inspection standards, ensuring supplier processes and parts align with quality expectations and customer requirements.
You will also need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy & Material Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive industry with a focus on project quality and quality management.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong expertise in automotive core tools such as SPC, MSA, and FMEA
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems and related documentation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and a solid understanding of tolerancing
- Familiarity with CAD programs, particularly CATIA V5
- A proactive approach to enhancing overall quality and process improvements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to drive solutions effectively
- A team-oriented mindset, capable of collaborating across departments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain and resolve problems efficiently
- Customer-focused and results-driven approach
- No travel restrictions; B-class driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
