Part-Time Automotive Sales Assistant

Eau Claire Ford Lincoln is looking for an outgoing, dependable Part-Time Automotive Sales Assistant to support our sales team and help create an excellent experience for every guest. This is a great opportunity for a college student or someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales, customer service, and the automotive industry. In addition, you'll learn the ever-changing technology that is driving the automotive industry of today.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and help connect them with the appropriate sales consultant
• Demonstrate vehicle technology for new customer delivery
• Assist sales consultants with customer questions and vehicle inquiries
• Learn our Ford, Lincoln, and pre-owned vehicle lineup
• Help conduct vehicle demonstrations and walkarounds
• Accompany or assist with test drives, when authorized
• Help prepare vehicles for customer appointments and deliveries
• Assist with locating vehicles and keeping the sales lot organized
• Follow up with customers by phone, text, or email as assigned
• Support the sales team with day-to-day dealership activities
• Learn the dealership’s sales process, technology, and customer-service standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with customers
• Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer and technology skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Automotive or sales experience is helpful but not required

Schedule: Part-time, with some evening and Saturday availability preferred
Pay: $16/hour
