PART-TIME BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN
Since 1977, Child Crisis Arizona has been a symbol of hope, responding to the call of our community to prevent and intervene in child abuse and neglect. With unwavering dedication, we have nurtured and strengthened families, evolving our programs to meet the ever-changing needs of those we serve. Our mission is to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect by creating strong and successful families.
Our residential programs are ready to hire Behavioral Health Technicians to join the team in our Group Home and Emergency Shelter.
We are looking for compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals that are committed to improving the lives of youth in Foster Care.
In this role you will spend most of your time in direct supervision of the youth in our agency’s care, providing a safe and secure environment where their emotional well-being can flourish. You will assist in the youth’s daily routines including food service, housekeeping duties, medication administration, necessary classes or client groups, and off-site activities that could include sporting events, movies, and other fun events. Utilizing agency-established behavior management protocols and procedures you will support the youth and assist in building essential life skills.
We are seeking prospective employees who have a genuine passion for working with teenage boys who have experienced trauma and may display a variety of behavioral challenges. We believe that the most important qualification is a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people. While experience is valuable, we are primarily looking for individuals with compassion, patience, resilience, and a desire to help youth succeed. At CCA, we are committed to providing the training, support, and guidance needed to help you learn our approach and develop the skills necessary to be successful. If you have the heart for this work, we can teach you the CCA way. "We hire for passion and potential. We train for excellence."
