Part-time Custodian (Columbus Airport) - Weekends
Summary
Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of airport facilities, including restrooms, floors, and common areas, working part-time on weekends.
A Custodian with Powerworks Industries, Inc. (PWI) at Columbus Airport is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the locations assigned under the PWI Contract. He/she will assist the Lead Worker and Supervisor with the cleaning and maintenance of all designated areas.
The Custodian responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, offices, and break rooms
- Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping
- Empty trash cans, clean windows, spot clean walls, and restock restroom supplies
- Application of advanced floor care techniques to the campus floor, as needed
- Top Scrub, strip, and wax hard floors
- Aid in all areas assigned
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements Education & Experience •High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); preferred •Minimum 3 months of custodial experience
- Shifts: 5 am until 2 pm and 1:30 pm until 10 pm
- Approximately 16-18 hours
- Weekends, but may need assist in the absence of other team members.
