Job Summary
Sinclair Flats is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Custodian/Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, restrooms, and exterior grounds.
Conduct routine inspections and perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
Assist with setup and breakdown of rooms and equipment as needed.
Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Report any major repair needs or safety hazards to management.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred.
Basic knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
Flexible availability to work part-time hours, including some evenings or weekends if needed.
