About the opportunity

An established Australian mortgage and commercial finance advisory business is looking for a practical, creative marketer to take ownership of its social media and content marketing.

The business works primarily with professionals, business owners and property investors, helping them understand how debt, lending structure and cash flow can support their financial objectives.

An established brand, substantial AI-assisted content system, founder-led videos and separate technical website support are already in place.

Your role is to turn that material into engaging, consistent marketing that attracts relevant prospective clients.

What you’ll do

Working with the internal team, you will:

  • Refine, visually enhance and publish approximately three content pieces per week.

  • Edit and distribute approximately one short founder-led video per week.

  • Create engaging graphics for Instagram, LinkedIn and website articles.

  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve content quality and workflows.

  • Identify timely financial topics and opportunities for useful content.

  • Coordinate focused marketing and lead-generation initiatives.

  • Monitor website traffic, social engagement and enquiries.

  • Provide a concise monthly report covering results, lessons and recommended changes.

Technical SEO, website development and complex financial research are handled separately.

Requirements

What you’ll bring

You should be creative, commercially minded, organised and comfortable working independently, with:

  • Practical experience managing social media and digital content.

  • Strong graphic design and short-form video editing skills.

  • Experience using AI tools, Canva, CapCut or similar platforms.

  • A reasonable understanding of mortgages, banking, debt and personal finance.

  • Experience with analytics, campaign monitoring and lead generation.

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • The initiative to recommend improvements and carry them through without constant supervision.

Experience marketing financial or professional services would be advantageous.

What success looks like

Success means thoughtful content, consistent delivery, stronger engagement from relevant audiences and progress towards generating qualified enquiries.

You’ll monitor results, explain what is working and recommend practical improvements. All substantive financial content will be reviewed and approved internally before publication.

How to apply

Email sebastian@nosweat.co.za the following:

  • A brief introduction outlining your relevant experience.

  • Examples of social media visuals and short-form videos you personally created or edited.

  • Examples of campaigns you managed, including results where available.

  • Your proposed weekly fee within the advertised budget.

  • Your availability and how you would allocate approximately eight hours per week.

Clearly explain your contribution to the work you submit.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to discuss how they would use the existing content and improve its effectiveness.

This is intended to be an ongoing working relationship, with regular monthly reviews rather than a lengthy formal trial period.
