This is a flexible, part-time/on-call role with no guaranteed weekly hours.

Drivers who maintain availability 7 days per week, Monday through Sunday, will receive $75 per week for remaining on call and available to cover routes as needed.

Additional and more consistent work opportunities may be available September through December during peak season, including multiple open shifts.

This position is ideal for drivers seeking supplemental income, gig workers, or anyone looking for a flexible driving schedule with opportunities to pick up additional work.

Position Overview

Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable and professional CDL Class A or B part-time/on-call drivers to support our growing team.

This is a great fit for Uber, Lyft, or other gig workers who want additional income while maintaining a flexible schedule.

When called in to work, you'll run a dedicated local route departing around 3:00 – 5:00 AM from Ontario, CA.

You'll receive regular route pay of $200 – $300 per day for each route you cover, depending on the lane.

Additional work opportunities and increased shift availability may be offered September through December during peak season.

Paid training with an experienced driver is provided.

The work involves touch freight – scanning, loading, and unloading boxes for final-mile and dedicated shipper customers.

Customer expectations are high, so we're looking for drivers who are punctual, careful, detail-oriented, and take pride in doing the job right.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B license
• Clean MVR and criminal background
• Prior truck-driving experience strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and punctuality
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to safety, customer service, and equipment care
• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
• 7-day availability required to qualify for the $75 weekly on-call pay

Run

• Dedicated local routes departing early morning from Ontario, CA

Compensation
