Part-time Food Lab Assistant (Bedok)

Job Duties:

• Assist teachers with food preparation and practical NFS lessons.
• Perform daily cleaning of the kitchen and maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Clean cookers, ovens and sinks, and clear and clean refrigerators weekly.
• Assist with stocktaking and general kitchen maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Teacher-in-Charge.

Requirements:

• Able to communicate in English to support teachers during practical lessons.
• Experience working in a school as an NFS Food Lab Assistant is preferred.
• Responsible and able to maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

Duraiton/Working hours:

1 year contract (Option to extend another two year) Jan 2027 to Dec 2027

• Normal Hours: 7:30am–12:30pm or 8:30am–1:30pm, minimum 3 days per week, without lunch break.
• Exam Periods: 8:30am–4:30pm for 10 school days, inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break.
• School Holidays: Ad-hoc support may be required during June, November and December.
• Working hours may vary according to school needs.
• No service required on weekends, gazetted public holidays or MOE school holidays.
