Job Summary
STEM Genius Coding & Robotics Academy seeks a Junior Coding & Robotics Trainer to deliver engaging lessons, manage classrooms, and guide young learners in coding and robotics activities using structured curriculum materials.
Responsibilities
- Deliver coding and robotics lessons to students aged 5 to 12 using structured curriculum and teaching materials
- Guide students in understanding and applying basic programming concepts on Scratch and Python and AI
- Facilitate robotics activities using platforms like LEGO SPIKE, EV3, SPIKE ESSENTIAL and WeDo to enhance hands-on learning
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure smooth and effective lesson delivery
- Support students in completing assigned coding and robotics tasks and projects
- Communicate basic progress updates to parents as needed
- Prepare and reset classroom materials before and after lessons to maintain an organized learning environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of teaching, enrichment, or training experience
- Basic knowledge of coding (e.g., Scratch, Python) or robotics
- Ability to manage a class independently and engage young learners aged 5 to 12
- Willingness to work on weekends (core teaching days). Preferably on Tues
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Experience in guiding teams in competition such as First Lego League, National Robotics Competition for example

- Structured training will be provided for LEGO robotics platforms and curriculum delivery
