Part-Time Lecturer – Hospitality & Tourism

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical workshops for undergraduate and diploma students across core hospitality and tourism modules.
  • Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Incorporate digital tools and sustainable hospitality practices into teaching.
  • Prepare, invigilate, mark, and provide feedback on examinations and assignments.
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students.
  • Supervise students’ internships, industry projects, and research papers.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and academic records.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, academic reviews, orientations, open days, and other school activities.
  • Work with Academic and Operations teams to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide additional academic support and undertake other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education, private education institutions, or polytechnic settings.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Relevant hospitality, hotel, or tourism industry experience is an advantage.
