Part Time Native English Speaking Teacher

Mountain Summit American English School is looking for one part-time teacher for the upcoming school year!

About Us:
We are a privately owned immersion-style school operating in the Tianmu area for over 20 years. We keep elementary-aged students engaged through dynamic daily lessons, hands-on STEAM projects, and seasonal holiday activities.

Position Details:

• Beginning Sep.7 and running through the fall semester.
• Hours: 4–8.5 hours per week
• Class Days: MWF 4:40 PM – 6:10 PM / TuTh 4:30 PM – 6:20 PM (Monthly

schedules provided in advance). If you can only do one of the two blocks of
classes, we may consider splitting them.

Compensation & Support:

• Pay: NT$700 – $750 / hour (commensurate with experience)
• Paid training and class observations (as needed)
• Comprehensive class outlines and all teaching materials provided
• Generous administrative and grading support

Requirements:

• Work Authorization: Must possess valid, independent open work rights in

Taiwan (APRC, Marriage ARC, or Employment Gold Card). Please note: This part-
time position does not offer visa sponsorship.

• Passport & Eligibility: Must hold a passport from an officially recognized native

English-speaking country (MOE/MOL compliant).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Background Check: Must hold or be able to obtain a clean Taiwan Police

Criminal Record Certificate (良民證).

• Experience: 1 year of teaching experience preferred; experience with young

learners is a plus.

• Must be willing to commit to at least Chinese New Year.
