Mobile Medical Support Vision provides compassionate eye care to underserved seniors across Southeast Michigan, and we're looking for an experienced, patient, and kind Optometrist to grow with us.
This is a great fit if you want to supplement your current practice, add some variety to your routine, or simply give back to a population that needs you. Work as little as one day a month, or up to three to four days a week. The schedule bends to fit your life, not the other way around.
What you'd do:
- Perform thorough eye exams
- Diagnose and treat eye disease and conditions
- Prescribe eyeglasses and create patient treatment plans
- Educate patients on their eye health
What we provide:
- $100 per hour
- All equipment and supplies, cost free
- Mileage reimbursement for local travel
- A Monday to Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends
What you bring:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD)
- Active Michigan optometry license
- A warm, patient-first approach (experience with geriatric patients is a plus)
