We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a key RFP and procurement process within the health sector through to the end of February.

This is a part-time contract suited to someone who is highly organised, comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and able to keep a structured procurement process moving. Previous experience working within health or healthcare environments would be highly advantageous.

About the role
Working alongside a Business Analyst, you’ll coordinate the end-to-end RFP process, providing the project structure, planning and stakeholder coordination needed to keep activity on track.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Developing and managing the project plan, milestones and key deliverables for the RFP.
  • Working closely with the BA to coordinate requirements, documentation and inputs into the RFP.
  • Coordinating business, clinical, technology and other relevant stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Managing timelines, risks, issues, dependencies and project reporting.
  • Coordinating meetings, workshops, evaluation activity and key decision points.
  • Supporting vendor engagement and communication throughout the RFP process.
  • Ensuring governance, documentation and approvals are completed at the appropriate stages.
  • Keeping the process moving through to vendor selection and the required project outcomes.
About you
You’ll be a pragmatic Project Manager who can quickly establish structure and momentum without overcomplicating the process.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
  • Proven Project Management experience within complex organisations.
  • Previous experience working within the health or healthcare sector would be strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating RFP, procurement or vendor selection processes.
  • Strong planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working closely with Business Analysts and a broad range of business stakeholders.
  • Confidence managing multiple inputs, deadlines and dependencies.
  • Strong governance, reporting and documentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and keep stakeholders accountable for actions and deliverables.
This is a part-time contract through to the end of February 2027 in Auckland.
