A part-time psychometrist at Carolina Pediatric Therapy administers and scores psychological test batteries for children and adolescents, evaluating cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional functioning under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. The role involves learning testing protocols, consulting on patient behavior, and collaborating with the clinical team in an onsite clinic set
Description
Part time Psychometrist will learn and administer/score psychological test batteries evaluating cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, behavioral, and emotional status of children and adolescents under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist in order to assist with treatment provision.
Major Responsibilities
1. Learn relevant administration standards of psychological test batteries
2. Administer and score psychological tests
3. Score tests administered when appropriate
4. Consult with psychologist regarding patient’s behavior during testing, including an interactions with the patient’s parents or peers that may be observed incidentally
Requirements
Requirements
- Experience working with children with multiple disabilities and/or behavioral challenges preferred.
- Experience and training in psychology and various psychological tests preferred.
- Experience in organizing work and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to create and work in a cooperative teamwork environment.
