Part -Time Summer Lifeguard

Under supervision of the Center Director/Program Coordinator or Designee, to participate in the responsibility of performing lifeguarding, water rescue and safety procedures: To perform a variety of tasks in the prevention of injuries at the pool facilities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains Lifeguard & CPR/First Aid certifications. Administer First Aid and/or CPR as needed; performs water rescue functions
• Observe patrons and enforce the safety rules and regulations of the pool
• Customer Service/Handles Objections/Positive Public Perception
• Participates in Lifeguard Training sessions
• Dependability/Attentiveness/Excellent Communication skills

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid administering
• Familiarity with and use of water safety equipment
