The Partner Assessment Analyst evaluates and ensures compliance of financial partners (banks/MSBs) with internal policies, AML/CTF regulations, and sanctions. Daily tasks include due diligence, policy reviews, risk escalation, and documentation updates in a fast-paced fintech environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing current and new partners, ensuring they comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and AML/CTF requirements. You will play a key role in supporting the business to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while maintaining high compliance standards.

About the role
We are seeking a Partner Assessment Analyst to join our Partner Assessment team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing current and new partners, ensuring they comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and AML/CTF requirements. You will play a key role in supporting the business to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while maintaining high compliance standards.
What You'll Own
- Complete information requests from Partners and internal stakeholders.
- Review current and new correspondents to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct due diligence on banking and Money Service Business (MSB) partners.
- Review licensing requirements and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Analyse partners’ AML/CTF policies and procedures.
- Conduct assessments of sanctions and PEP matches, and perform adverse media checks.
- Escalate compliance issues to the regional compliance officers with detailed research findings.
- Provide AML/CTF assessments of banking and MSB partners..
- Check and maintain Zepz documentation to ensure it is up to date and accurate.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidance, including Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience reviewing information and creating structured cases.
- Knowledge of Compliance, AML, or Risk.
- Strong written, analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Open-minded attitude, comfortable raising issues and helping to resolve them.
- Ability to perform successfully under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience reading and interpreting regulatory information.
- Knowledge of Sanction Screening
AI Literacy & Tools

- Practical experience using AI tools in a professional context — whether to connect information, draft content, build frameworks, or create insights from data. We want people who actively use AI to increase productivity, not those who are waiting to be told to.
- Strong AI literacy — an understanding of what AI assistants can and cannot do, how to prompt effectively, and how to critically evaluate AI-generated output before using it.
- Awareness of the ethical considerations and responsible use of AI in the workplace, particularly in the context of sensitive data, customer experience, and compliance.
- Prior experience using Claude (Anthropic) is a nice-to-have but not essential — what matters most is that you are genuinely engaged with AI as a tool, comfortable experimenting, and eager to share what works with your wider team.
