In this position, you will focus on activating underperforming and inactive partners, increasing product adoption, and developing stronger business relationships with insurance agencies and brokers. You will lead outreach, onboarding, training, and engagement initiatives designed to help partners integrate insurance solutions into their existing workflows and sales strategies. Working closely with partner success and account management teams, you will identify growth opportunities and develop targeted action plans to improve partner performance. You will also monitor engagement metrics, track production trends, and identify promising partners for strategic account development. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated business development professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing sales behavior, and contributing to a fast-growing insurance technology environment.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns to increase partner activity, strengthen relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Support onboarding and training programs for newly launched and developing partners, ensuring they understand the available solutions and how to integrate them into their sales processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve submission volumes, product adoption, and overall partner engagement through proactive communication and tailored development strategies.
  • Organize and deliver educational sessions, webinars, presentations, and partner enablement meetings to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Develop structured action plans for dormant or underperforming accounts, identifying barriers to engagement and implementing initiatives to improve production.

  • Collaborate with Partner Success Managers and Partner Account Executives to develop and execute partner growth strategies and ensure consistent relationship management.
  • Support marketing initiatives and business development campaigns focused on increasing partner activation, adoption, and revenue generation.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, outreach activities, and performance metrics within Salesforce or other designated CRM platforms.
  • Identify high-potential partners who demonstrate readiness for transition into strategic growth account management and provide relevant insights to support the transition.
  • Relationship Management and Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance producers, agency personnel, brokers, and other distribution stakeholders.
  • Act as a proactive resource for partners, helping them identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and improve their commercial insurance sales strategies.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and proactive relationship management across internal teams and external partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least two years of professional experience in sales development, partner development, insurance distribution, account management, or a related commercial role.
  • Previous experience working with insurance agents, brokers, agencies, or other distribution partners.
  • Demonstrated experience in outbound outreach, partner activation, customer engagement, or business development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and customer engagement tools such as HubSpot.
  • Experience developing business plans, partner engagement strategies, or initiatives designed to improve commercial performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to motivate partners, encourage product adoption, and drive changes in sales behavior.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns, partner accounts, and activation initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and training skills, including the ability to deliver engaging educational sessions and communicate product value effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify partner development opportunities, assess performance trends, and recommend practical growth strategies.
