Job Description
In order to continue their expansion in the German market, they are looking for a Partner Manager to join their team in Munich.
Purpose of the job:
- Launch and grow their’s alliance network in Germany from the ground up.
- Cultivate and activate a thriving ecosystem bringing together Tax Advisors (Steuerberater), Business Consultants, and Technology Partners.
- Act as the crucial link between local market opportunities and the Global Alliances team at HQ.
Details of the tasks:
Strategy Co-Ownership & Ecosystem Architecture
- Partner with the global Alliances team at HQ to adapt the overarching partnership playbook to the specific cultural and legal context of the German Mittelstand.
- Map, approach, and onboard key channel partners: Tax Advisors (Steuerberater) targeting digitally mature, mid-sized Kanzleien, HR & Digital Transformation Consultants, and Value-Added Resellers & Tech Partners.
- Maximize our visibility through partnerships with agile SaaS technology providers and integrators.
Maximize the DATEV Partnership
- Position our client as a premier integrated solution for DATEV users (DATEV Lodas, Lohn und Gehalt).
- Foster an active, loyal community of Tax Advisors by demonstrating how our client’s pre-payroll export and specialized features eliminate their manual operational drag.
Channel Lead Transfer & Revenue Operations
- Actively own and execute the channel lead transfer process, fueling the pipeline for the German sales team.
- Monitor partner pipeline velocity, tracking metrics such as Qualified Lead Volume (QLV) generated via partners and partner-led conversion rates.
- Maintain meticulous CRM data hygiene (Salesforce), setting up efficient workflows with the Operations team to track partner touchpoints, co-marketing events, and revenue attribution.
Partner Enablement & Network Animation
- Conduct high-impact product demonstrations, build localized partner enablement assets (presentations, joint-value case studies), and address technical/regulatory queries.
- Collaborate with Marketing to prepare and co-host regional partner events, webinars, user clubs, and major HR trade shows (e.g., Zukunft Personal)
Requirements
- You have 3 to 6 years of proven success in B2B SaaS Channel/Alliance Management or Sales and Account Management in Germany.
- Prior exposure to the HR Tech, payroll operations, or HRIS landscape is highly appreciated.
- A solid understanding of the German tax advisor (Steuerberater) network or software integrations with DATEV is a huge competitive advantage.
- Native-level fluency in German (C2) and professional proficiency in English (C1/C2) are mandatory.
- Clear and structured oral and written communication.
- Intellectual curiosity, exceptional active listening skills, and a deeply collaborative team spirit.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, recovering quickly from setbacks and seeing challenges as opportunities
