Partner Manager, Platform Partnerships
Posted Updated
Description
Samba connects the advertising industry. Today, a trillion dollars of media flows through platforms that don’t talk to each other, and each one measures its own results. We built the independent alternative: consented first-party data and AI that give the world’s biggest advertisers, publishers, and platforms one clear view across all of it.
The next era of advertising will run on AI agents, and those agents will need data they can trust. We’re building that foundation, and the agents that act on it. Join us and help build what the industry runs on.
About the Role
You evangelize Samba's solutions across the world's largest platforms where advertising is bought, sold, and measured, owning the full partnership lifecycle. You connect their seller organizations to Samba's brand and agency sellers so that demand moves through the channel rather than around it. There are opportunities to influence the product roadmap and the sales and marketing organization.
What You'll Do
- Be a Thought Partner: Act as a thought partner to the world's largest platforms as they evolve how data powers their targeting, activation, and measurement offerings.
- Evangelize Samba: Evangelize Samba's data, advertising, and TV research and analytics solutions across platform partners, building fluency in our value proposition among their sales, product, and partnership teams.
- Build the Channel Motion: Build and run a channel motion that enables platform sellers to bring Samba into client conversations and connects them to Samba's brand and agency sellers for joint account planning.
- Own Partner Revenue: Prospect, qualify, close, and scale revenue-generating partnerships with platforms within a defined portfolio or vertical, meeting or exceeding quarterly sales and partner-sourced revenue targets.
- Make the Case: Communicate Samba's offerings and unique value proposition persuasively to platform partners via email, phone, and in-person presentations and discussions.
- Build Partner Relationships: Develop relationships at all levels within platform partners, demonstrating a thorough understanding of each partner's organization, roadmap, needs, and revenue potential.
- Work Across Teams: Collaborate with account management, product, and partner solutions on proposals and integrations that ensure launches succeed, and help develop marketing and enablement initiatives and industry events.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of sales or partnership success in advertising, digital media, adtech, or internet technology; platform, channel, or partnership experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform against quota in a highly competitive market, with a strategic, consultative, and analytical approach focused on durable partnerships rather than one-off transactions.
- Experience enabling and selling through partner sales organizations, not just to them, and comfort in technical and commercial conversations: data integrations, clean rooms, identity, and measurement.
- Customer-focused leadership with excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills, strong references from partners, customers, and colleagues, and existing relationships with platform decision makers favored.
- Willingness to travel to outside markets and to entertain partners during evenings and occasionally weekends.
- Knowledge of the TV, online, and mobile advertising industry and data is a plus.
