Role Overview
The Partner Sales Manager is an individual contributor responsible for building and growing a portfolio of partner relationships that contribute directly to sales pipeline and revenue. The role will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Revenue Operations to create a consistent partner motion from recruitment through activation, co-selling and ongoing performance management.
This person will be commercially focused and hands-on, owning partner relationships and opportunities directly rather than managing a team. They will identify where partners can create the greatest impact, help partners position Birdeye effectively, and ensure partner activity translates into measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit and develop strategic partners that align with Birdeye's target customers and growth priorities.
- Own day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of partners and act as their primary commercial point of contact.
- Build joint business plans with priority partners, including pipeline, revenue and activity goals.
- Generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline through referrals, introductions, co-selling and joint campaigns.
- Work directly with Sales teams on partner-led opportunities, including account mapping, introductions and deal progression.
- Enable partners with the product knowledge, messaging, sales materials and support needed to position Birdeye effectively.
- Track partner performance and identify which relationships should be accelerated, developed or deprioritised.
- Maintain accurate partner, pipeline and opportunity data in Salesforce and relevant partner systems.
- Provide regular forecasts and updates on partner pipeline, revenue, risks and upcoming opportunities.
- Work with Marketing on partner campaigns, events, webinars and co-marketing opportunities that create demand.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and internal teams to support a strong partner and customer experience.
- Gather market and partner feedback and share insights that can improve sales strategy, positioning and partner programmes.
