Partner Sales Manager
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm local business hours
- Occasional after-hours support as required for client needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Build and expand NexusTek's TSD channel by developing strong, strategic relationships with Technology Services Distributors, Technology Advisors, agents, brokers, and referral partners that can generate recurring business for NexusTek.
- Proactively recruit and activate new agents and Technology Advisors, identifying high-potential partners and developing relationships that lead to productive, revenue-generating channel partnerships.
- Create partner-sourced demand and pipeline through field engagement, partner meetings, joint prospecting, account mapping, referrals, events, trainings, and other business-development activities.
- Get directly involved in partner-generated opportunities, working with TSDs, TAs, agents, prospects, and NexusTek field sales to qualify opportunities, uncover customer needs, position NexusTek's value, and advance opportunities through the sales process.
- Develop joint business-development plans with key TSD and agent partners, establishing mutual targets, priority solutions, target accounts, and specific activities designed to generate incremental NexusTek revenue.
- Partner closely with NexusTek's field sales and technical teams to bring the right resources into opportunities, facilitate effective field-level teaming, and ensure partner opportunities are properly transitioned while maintaining involvement through the customer close.
- Represent NexusTek in the TSD and technology advisor community, attending industry events, partner conferences, regional meetings, customer engagements, and other field activities to increase NexusTek's visibility and create new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in partner sales, channel sales, business development, preferably with a managed services provider (MSP), cloud, cybersecurity, or IT services company.
- Direct experience working with TSDs, Technology Advisors (TAs), master agents, agents, brokers, or similar indirect technology sales organizations.
- Strong understanding of the TSD/TA and MSP ecosystem, including how Technology Advisors identify customer needs, source opportunities, evaluate providers, and bring managed services opportunities to market.
- Strong consultative sales skills and the ability to participate in live customer opportunities, understand business and technology needs, articulate NexusTek's value proposition, and effectively collaborate with field sales through the sales cycle.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills; able to operate independently and effectively in a remote, field-oriented role covering the U.S.
