Partner Success Specialist

Summary

Owns relationships with Church and Content Partners, onboarding them, training them on the Bible App, and coaching them to grow their impact while aligning with ministry goals.

The Partner Success Specialist is the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of Church and Content Partners. This role is responsible for the long-term success of key Partner relationships, ensuring every Partner feels cared for and genuinely supported throughout their journey with the Bible App while helping them grow their impact on the platform.

What You'll Do

Partner Onboarding & Equipping
  • Guide Church and Content Partners throughout their journey by providing platform orientation, product training, content strategy, and theological and community standards that equip them to successfully launch and steward their content.
  • Coach YouVersion partners with strategies, systems, and tools in alignment with team direction, equipping them to steward their platform presence with excellence.
  • Communicate YouVersion’s Theological and Community Guidelines consistently across the full lifecycle of each Partner relationship.
  • Utilize available tools—including HubSpot, Microsoft Suite, Google platforms, and other systems—to support partner care and ongoing relationship management.
Relationship Building & Spiritual Care
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advocate for key Church and Content Partners, building long-term relationships rooted in trust, faithfulness, and shared Kingdom purpose.
  • Support engagement and strategic partner initiatives that deepen relationships through Quarterly Partner Roundtables, thoughtful communications, consistent follow-up, and genuine hospitality when partners visit YouVersion HQ.
  • Provide care and relationship support for non-impact partners, including new partner onboarding and referrals.
Proactive Partner Health & Growth
  • Monitor partner engagement and content performance metrics to identify underutilized features, surface growth opportunities, and address challenges before they escalate.
  • Identify and champion Impact Partners for featured placement within the YouVersion App and across marketing channels, highlighting the impact of their ministry.
  • Proactively steward the full arc of each partner relationship, deepening engagement, expanding content reach, and championing partner retention as a reflection of long-term ministry investment.
  • Gather and faithfully relay partner feedback to internal teams, ensuring the partner’s voice shapes product development and platform improvements.
Partner Advocacy & Internal Collaboration
  • Serve as the voice and advocate for YouVersion's ministry partners by collaborating with internal teams to resolve partner issues, communicate product feedback, and influence product planning and platform improvements.
  • Uphold consistent, world-class partner care standards while leveraging available systems and tools to minimize manual effort and maximize ministry impact.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable processes, playbooks, and shared resources that raise the quality of every partner’s experience on the platform.

Skills Needed to Succeed

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills able to articulate complex concepts with clarity, warmth, and relational depth that builds lasting trust with ministry partners.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and confidently explain platform tools, features, and workflows to partners at varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Data literacy and analytical thinking capable of interpreting engagement metrics, tracking ministry impact, and using insights to guide proactive partner conversations.
  • Proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with the ability to mediate concerns graciously, navigate differing perspectives, and develop strategic solutions that strengthen partner relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the local church, Christian ministry landscape, and the unique needs of ministry organizations navigating digital platforms.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of related work experience in customer success, account management, ministry partnerships, or church ministry roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with Christian ministry organizations; familiarity with the local church ecosystem strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM or partner management platforms (e.g., HubSpot) preferred.
