Responsibilities:

• Engage people to know God personally
• Disciple, inspire and coach people to multiply their faith
• Develop family life training materials with a focus on ministry in a Chinese context
• Organise training sessions for parents/families in EAST Extensions
• Assist in EAST President’s networking with Chinese partners

As a Christian organisation, employees will be required to attend work meetings and Christian fellowship meetings, which start and end with religious activities such as prayers, words of worship and bible sharing. Non-Christian employees are not required to participate in the religious activities.

Requirements:

• Master degree holder in Theology, or other relevant theological training
• Passionate to work with families
• Able to teach in English and Mandarin
• Minimum years of Experience: 3 years in family ministry, developing training materials and conducting training in the Chinese context
• Able to adapt quickly to changes in work environment
• A self-starter and an enthusiastic learner
• Able to work independently and also within a team
• Able to manage multiple relationships and tasks simultaneously
• Committed to EAST's ministry models of evangelism and discipleship
• Prior experience in evangelism, disciple-making and family ministry is advantageous
