Partnerships Manager - Oman
Title: Partnership Manager
Department: Partnerships
Location: Oman
Remote status: On-site
Employment type: Full-time
About Unipal
Unipal is a youth discounts and experiences platform. We connect the youth with the brands and universities that matter to them. We are based in Bahrain, operate in Saudi Arabia and Oman, and are growing across the region.
About the role
Oman is one of our newest markets, and we want to build it right. We build meaningful partnerships, not one-off deals: brands that stay with us because students keep coming back. As Partnerships Head for Oman, you will own the market's partnerships plan and targets. In the beginning you will sign most deals yourself, then grow the team as the market scales. You will work closely with leadership, Marketing, Accounts Management, and Product.
What you will do
Set and own the Oman partnerships plan: categories, target brands, and monthly and quarterly numbers
Personally find, pitch, negotiate, and sign student-relevant brands across Muscat and beyond
Build Unipal's relationships with Oman's universities and colleges
Make sure every partner is a good long-term fit, with accurate contracts and a smooth handover to Accounts Management
Keep your CRM pipeline clean and report forecasts and results clearly
Hire and coach your first team members as the market grows
Represent Unipal with senior brand decision makers and at local business events
Feed market insight into Marketing, Product, and leadership
What you bring
5+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales in Oman, with a record of closing deals
Experience owning a territory, a key account portfolio, or leading a small team
A strong network across Oman's F&B, retail, and lifestyle brands
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Self-driven and comfortable building a market with little structure around you
Comfortable working with monthly targets, KPIs, and a CRM
A good understanding of what students want from brands
Nice to have
Experience in a startup or launching a new market
Experience with youth or student-focused brands
Fluent Arabic and English
