Partnerships Manager



About the role

At The Guestbook, we work on innovative products that aim to provide enriched experiences in travel. To help us deliver on our value proposition, we are in search of an experienced Partnerships Manager (Contractor) to lead targeted sales efforts for our hotel partner network as part of The Guestbook's cash back rewards program. As an ideal candidate, you will have comprehensive sales experience, ideally within hotel commercial or SaaS sales in the target markets, along with a proven track record of prospecting, negotiating, and closing new business with hotels. You are a highly skilled, results-driven employee, and you are passionate about building lasting relationships with global accounts.

This role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Partnerships.



What you'll do

Objectives of this Role

Drive new business development by identifying, prospecting, and signing hotel partners in South America, Central America, Spain and Portugal into The Guestbook's cash back rewards program

Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue and tracking progress against quota

Establish strong rapport with hotel decision-makers in order to maximize profitability and increase retention of accounts

Lead the full sales cycle from outreach and discovery through contract negotiation and close

Collaborate closely with the Partner Success Team to ensure a seamless handoff and onboarding experience for newly signed hotel partners

Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation

Represent The Guestbook at industry tradeshows, conferences, and events to build a pipeline of new hotel partners


Job Requirements

Experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a demonstrated history of exceeding revenue targets

Experience in hotel commercial and/or SaaS sales preferred.

Experience in highlighted markets of South America, Central America, Spain and Portugal

Proven ability to build relationships and establish credibility with hotel partners through regular communication, in-person visits, and performance reviews

Solicit feedback and represent the voice of the hotel partner to provide input into every core product, marketing, and sales process

Ability to work autonomously, focusing on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines

Ability to recognize the need for reporting, acquire data, and produce visually appealing presentations of information applicable for internal and external use

Collaborative spirit and excellent communicator in both client interactions and across internal teams

Strong work ethic, self-starter, ability to drive new initiatives and self-manage. Owner mentality who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment

The company requires that from time to time, you will travel for tradeshows, conferences, and other onsite meetings related to your position as needed

Willingness to work outside of traditional business hours as needed


Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of successful experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in hotel commercial or SaaS sales

Proven experience managing a full sales cycle, from prospecting through close

Spanish language fluency required

Highly effective in partnering with cross-functional teams with a collaborative spirit

Strong presentation and speaking skills
