Location: Monasterevin, Co. Kildare Company: Monasterevin Motors Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent, 40 hours per week Salary: €34,010 About Us Monasterevin Motors is a leading automotive retailer committed to delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a commercially focused and detail-oriented Parts Analyst to support the effective management, control, and optimisation of parts inventory across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical individual with a strong interest in stock management, reporting, and business performance to join a dynamic and fast-paced automotive environment. Key Responsibilities • Analyse parts sales, purchasing, stock movements, and inventory performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. • Monitor parts stock levels and recommend appropriate replenishment strategies to maximise availability while minimising excess inventory. • Review fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete stock and provide recommendations to improve stock efficiency and turnover. • Support forecasting and demand planning activities using historical sales data, seasonal trends, and manufacturer requirements. • Analyse supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and product availability to support purchasing decisions. • Work closely with Parts, Service, Aftersales, and Management teams to ensure stock availability aligns with operational requirements. • Investigate stock discrepancies and support stock accuracy initiatives. • Produce regular reports and performance dashboards relating to inventory, purchasing, sales, margins, stock ageing, and turnover. • Identify opportunities for cost savings, improved purchasing efficiencies, and inventory optimisation. • Assist with manufacturer reporting requirements and parts performance analysis. • Support annual and periodic stock audits and cycle counting programmes. • Make recommendations to improve parts processes, controls, and overall departmental performance. Skills & Experience Essential • Third-level qualification in Business, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Automotive Management, or a related discipline. • Strong analytical and numerical skills. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities. • Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
