Manages Toyota parts inventory and fulfillment for service technicians in a Dallas dealership, using Toyota catalogs and dealership systems to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction.

As a Parts Back Counter Associate, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Toyota in Dallas.

This role is responsible for supplying technicians with the correct Toyota Genuine Parts and accessories in a timely manner to ensure efficient vehicle repairs and exceptional customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has previous automotive parts experience, preferably in a dealership environment. However, we are willing to train a motivated individual who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing outstanding internal customer service.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist service technicians by identifying, locating, and issuing the correct Toyota Genuine Parts and accessories.
  • Maintain consistent communication with technicians and service advisors to prioritize repair orders and minimize downtime.
  • Utilize Toyota electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems to research and source parts.
  • Verify pricing, availability, supersessions, and backordered parts.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and replenishing inventory.
  • Process warranty parts, core returns, and manufacturer returns in accordance with Toyota guidelines.
  • Participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts storage area.
  • Work closely with the Front Counter, Warehouse, and Service teams to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous automotive parts experience is preferred.
  • Toyota dealership experience is highly desirable but not required.
  • We are willing to train candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of automotive components and vehicle systems preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn dealership software.
  • Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or other dealership management systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
