Parts Coordinator

Are you super organised, love keeping things moving, and get satisfaction from a job well done? 4th Dimension Innovation is on the hunt for a Parts Coordinator to join our busy Repair Parts team in Thorpe, Egham β€” helping keep motorcycle repairs on the road (literally) by making sure the right parts land in the right hands at the right time.


You'll report to the Parts Manager, playing a vital role in the smooth running of our Production department β€” sourcing, ordering, checking and tracking parts so that our workshop, estimation and paint shop teams can work efficiently and repair cycle times stay sharp.


Main Duties:


  • Identify, source and order motorcycle parts required for repair jobs
  • Unpack, check and verify all received parts for accuracy and suitability
  • Book parts onto the body shop management system accurately and promptly
  • Liaise with suppliers by phone and email to manage orders, resolve queries and confirm delivery timelines
  • Negotiate and process parts returns, ensuring credit and stock control accuracy
  • Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and deliveries
  • Create and maintain work files and job cards to support repair workflow
  • Track and report on the location and progress of motorcycles through the repair process
  • Conduct regular stock checks and support wider stock management activities
  • Work closely with Estimating, Workshop and Paint shop teams to ensure timely parts availability
  • Support the Parts Manager with data reporting, performance updates and supplier relationship management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the parts function


Key Skills:


  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident, professional telephone manner
  • IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the initiative to resolve issues independently
  • Positive, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a genuine can-do attitude
  • Reliable, conscientious and committed to high-quality work
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Math and English


Bonus Points For:


  • Previous experience in motorcycles, automotive parts, logistics or engineering
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Automotive, Parts or Logistics
  • Experience with body shop or workshop systems


The Essentials


πŸ•’ Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, between 7am–6pm
πŸ’· Salary: Β£28,090–£29,500
