About the Role
As a Parts Driver, you'll keep our shops stocked and running smoothly. You'll deliver parts safely and efficiently, manage freight, and support warehouse operations. Strong customer service skills and a dependable work ethic are essential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver auto parts safely and efficiently, using an assigned Parts vehicle
- Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, equipment, materials, and other items
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight
- Place parts and commodities in designated areas of individual shops
- Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, stock issue, and inventory maintenance
- Record vehicle maintenance data and operate assigned vehicles
- Receive requests, prioritize tasks, and prepare daily work schedules
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a standard driving record
- Knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving, and safe driving practices
- Experience providing exceptional customer service, with tact, patience, and courtesy
- Ability to lift and move parts safely using proper lifting techniques
- Ability to work independently with little direction, as well as cooperatively with a team
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and meet schedules and deadlines
- Reliable attendance
