Position Summary
The Parts Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery and pickup of automotive parts and materials between the dealership, guest, wholesale accounts, vendors, and other locations. This position provides excellent guest service while maintaining a professional appearance and representing the dealership in a positive manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Safely operate dealership vehicles to deliver and pick up automotive parts, equipment, and related materials.

Deliver parts to wholesale customers, body shops, repair facilities, other dealerships, and internal departments.

Verify parts and quantities against invoices, packing slips, or delivery paperwork before leaving the dealership.

Obtain signatures or other required documentation upon delivery.

Load and unload parts carefully to prevent damage to parts, vehicles, or property.

Maintain an organized delivery route and complete deliveries in a timely manner.

Pick up parts from vendors, suppliers, and other dealership locations as needed.

Communicate with the Parts Department regarding delivery status, delays, missing parts, or discrepancies.

Assist with organizing and maintaining the parts delivery area and dealership vehicles.

Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of assigned delivery vehicles.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.

Follow all traffic laws, dealership safety policies, and company procedures.

Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Provide courteous and professional service to guests and business partners.

Handle parts and customer property with care and maintain confidentiality when appropriate.

Assist the Parts Department with stocking, organizing, and other duties during periods when deliveries are not being made.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager or dealership management.
