Monday 7:30am-4pm Tuesday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Basil Toyota is looking for a reliable, motivated Parts Driver / Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team! This is a full-time position that combines parts delivery responsibilities with helping keep our shipping and receiving operations organized and running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in providing great service to both our dealership team and customers.
What You'll Do:
Parts Driver Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver automotive parts, supplies, and equipment between dealerships, vendors, and customers
- Safely load, secure, and transport parts
- Verify parts and delivery paperwork for accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Provide friendly and professional service when making deliveries
- Follow all company and driving safety procedures
Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming parts, packages, and shipments
- Check deliveries for accuracy and inspect items for damage
- Organize and properly store incoming inventory
- Prepare outgoing shipments and packages
- Assist with maintaining an organized parts and shipping/receiving area
- Complete shipping and receiving paperwork as needed
- Communicate with dealership departments and vendors regarding deliveries and shipments
- Help with general department tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move parts and packages
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and friendly communication skills
- Previous automotive parts, delivery, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or dealership experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
