Parts Driver

Overview

We are looking to fill our full time year-round Fleet Maintenance Parts Driver position. This is a fast-paced environment, and this person must be able to show excellent communication skills while being able to multitask.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to shop, road crews, vendors, and other locations as needed.
• Picks up parts from vendors, road crews, and other locations as needed.
• Loads and unloads parts and equipment to and from truck.
• Ensures that we are receiving/delivering correct parts.
• Fuel and clean vehicle as needed.
• Assist the Parts Department and Maintenance shop as needed.
• Flexibility to occasionally extend hours.
• Ability to drive truck for 8 hours.
• While in the shop, this person will drive a forklift to help with offloading/loading deliveries and keep stock in the parts department.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Auto parts delivery a plus but not required
• Minimum computer skills; Word, Excel, Outlook
• Class E driver's license required within 30 days
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug tests
• Arrive and be ready to start work at 7:00 a.m.
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks at a time and lift up 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience helpful but not required.
