Parts Interpreter
Summary
Interprets and sources automotive parts for customers in-store, over the phone, or via email, processes orders, and supports warehouse operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our team in Townsville.
Whether you’re an experienced Parts Interpreter or come from a mechanical, workshop, or trade background, we’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where no two days are the same, and your contribution directly helps keep our customers on the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in-store, over the phone, and via email
- Interpret and source truck and trailer parts
- Process sales, orders, credits, and invoices
- Use systems and parts catalogues to find accurate solutions
- Support warehouse operations including dispatch and stock control
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked showroom
- Work closely with your team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Experience as a Parts Interpreter or background in automotive, mechanical, dealership, or trade environments
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident using systems and learning new tools
- A team player with a proactive, hands-on approach
