Summary
Manages parts and materials for military vehicle maintenance at Red River Army Depot, including developing parts consumption data and maintenance repair requirements for tactical vehicles.
About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Participate in pilot overhaul and Depot Maintenance Work Requirements Verification, Authorization for Engineering Deviations, Material Review Boards or special projects.
Request mission reports and recommend schedule adjustment based on availability or non-availability of material.
Request estimates of locally manufactured items and/or procured.
Develop and maintain parts consumption data for bills of material and associated production versions based on consumption history.
Develop maintenance repair parts requirements for major overhaul of aircraft, engine and major component programs for DOD and non-DOD activities to include military aid and foreign military sales.
