Pastoral Assistant (Telugu)
The role of the Telugu Fellowship Pastoral Assistant is to support the Telugu Congregation’s Pastor by providing pastoral and operational support to the team, which includes supervision of cell groups, water baptism services, coordinating pastoral care for members of the Fellowship and organizing discipleship sessions for School of Tyrannus. This role entails leading the training and equipping teaching sessions for Telugu satellite churches under Cornerstone Global Network and their various ministries.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide oversight for services and events at different centers.
- To help facilitate the congregation in handling water baptisms.
- Coordinate counseling sessions, dorms visitations and administer hospital visits.
- To provide training and discipleship to all brothers of the team.
- To lead Zoom Training & Equipping for India – Satellite Churches.
- To upkeep the Media projects and help facilitate and maintain the needs of the venues for the weekly service in various centers.
Skills, qualifications, and experience requirements:
- Diploma/Degree holder in any discipline
- Relevant experience in pastoring/leading a church and/or bible school
- Strong in organisational and leadership skills especially working with migrant workers
- Strong written and verbal communication in Telugu and the English language skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be fluently persuasive in Telugu to translate teaching materials.
- Proficiency in photoshop, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Computer is a must.
- Relevant training/education in biblical studies is preferred.
- Required to work on weekends and any other ad-hoc duties when assigned
