Summary

Coordinate and support church missions programs, including training, volunteer management, and outreach events, while aligning activities with the church’s vision.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall support, engagement and care of the Missions Ministry Workers including planning of annual mission worker retreat and visits to locations where overseas workers are based.
  • Strengthen the process and training system of raising potential candidates and interns for missions work.
  • Plan, design and conduct training modules on missions’ awareness and missions members care for church members.
  • Plan, coordinate, provide support and budget for Missions Month, Missions Sunday and related Missions awareness programmes.
  • Recruit and train volunteers to support mission activities.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations and agencies to maximize the impact of mission programs.
  • Prepare regular reports on mission activities and outcomes.
  • Develop and recommend a comprehensive missions strategy aligned with the church's overall vision and goals.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify fields or partnership opportunities where the church can make an impact.
  • Perform assigned congregational duties and ensure smooth flow of logistics and technical support.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned including teaching/preaching, attending to walk-ins, conduct home blessings, hospital visits and wake services.


Requirements

  • Have at least two years prior experience in similar capacity
  • Pastoral heart of servanthood
  • Strong communication skills, team player
  • Good planner and organizer who is able to meet deadline
  • Willing to work on weekends
  • Theology certification is an added advantage.
